Dr. Paul Ferguson
Dr. Paul Ferguson is a Monmouth County native and a graduate of Rutgers University. He graduated from New Jersey Dental School at UMDNJ in 1996, and then completed a Hospital Residency in General Dentistry at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Since then, Dr. Ferguson has continued to pursue excellence in dentistry, and in 2002, he earned a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a member (and past-president) of the New Jersey Cast Gold Study Club, and is a member of the Jersey Coast Dental Forum. In addition, he has further advanced his skills and knowledge at both The Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Key Biscayne, FL and the Kois Center in Seattle, WA. Dr. Ferguson also holds a faculty position at Middlesex County College in the Dental Hygiene Department.
Dr. Ferguson has been practicing dentistry in Fair Haven since 1999. When away from the office, Dr. Ferguson enjoys crosswords, golf, yoga, and the NY Yankees. He and his wife, Carolyn, enjoy time with their families and friends, cooking, gardening, travel, hiking, volleyball, and the local restaurant scene.
Dr. Dorothy Hoyt-Rehm
Dr. Dorothy Hoyt-Rehm grew up in Fair Haven, where her father was a highly regarded orthodontist. She attended the Dental Hygiene Program at University of Pennsylvania and received her B.S. from Indiana University. She practiced dental hygiene and coordinated dental research studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry's Pharmacology Department before matriculating at the dental school. Dr. Hoyt-Rehm graduated with honors in 1983, and then completed a Hospital Residency in General Dentistry at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. She is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. She has remained current by attending the annual continuing education programs offered by the Jersey Shore University Medical Center and University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Hoyt-Rehm has worked at our practice since 1985.
Dr. Hoyt-Rehm lives at Triple Brook Nursery in Colts Neck with her husband and their two teenage children. She and her family enjoy gardening, boating, fishing, golfing, skiing, bowling, going to the beach, fossil hunting, and cooking.
We are very proud of our staff, most of whom have worked at our practice for over 10 years.
Front Desk and Office Manager
Karen began her career in dentistry over 30 years ago as an assistant, and joined our practice in 1988. Her years of experience and superior communication skills have made her an expert in scheduling, financial arrangements, and insurance, as well as a great source of general information about our practice and oral health.
We are pleased to have Edy working in our practice again. Edy received her dental hygiene training at Middlesex County College. Edy is an exceptional dental hygienist who will work with you to maintain your oral health between visits.
Jan completed her dental hygiene training at Fairleigh Dickinson University. She joined our practice in 1969. She is not only a meticulous hygienist, but a first-rate motivator and educator. She has the unique ability to put anyone under her care at ease. Jan is a member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association.
Laurie has been a chairside dental assistant since 1993 and earned her certification as a Registered Dental Assistant in 2000. She joined our practice in 1995. In addition to her excellent chairside skills, she has really gotten to know many of our patients over the years and knows how to keep them comfortable when they are here.
Helene is a Certified Dental Assistant who joined our practice in 2012. Dental assisting is her second career, which she pursued after a successful career as a business systems analyst. She says that her favorite part of being a chairside dental assistant is helping the dentist improve people's smiles.
